We have certifications to back up our claims.
Apeks systems are manufactured in an ASME facility, our control panels are UL listed, and we have peer reviews for almost every state. Apeks Supercritical has received EPR certifications approving the use of our supercritical and subcritical extraction systems in Colorado, Washington, Nevada, Oregon, California, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The EPRs, completed by Pressure Safety Inspectors (PSI) Professional Engineers, confirm our CO2 extraction systems comply with the International Fire Code and meet ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code standards.

Ask us for a peer review for your state! We have peer reviews for almost all the U.S. states. Together with our ASME certificate and UL Listing, this provides a comprehensive safety standards, which satisfies most regulators.
ELECTRICAL CERTIFICATION
UL Listed
Unfortunately, the EPR only focuses on the mechanical portions of the extraction system and leaves the electrical portion without review. To address this Apeks Supercritical CO2 industrial control panels are also UL Listed, meeting the nationally recognized Underwriters Laboratories Standards for Safety! In addition, our vessels are manufactured in an ASME certified facility.
We also have UL 698A certification. This allows us to build ethanol control panels since some of them are used in hazardous locations.
PRESSURE RATING
ASME Certification
All our systems are manufactured in our 30,000 sq ft ASME certified facility. This means that all vessels are pressure tested 1.3 times the designed pressure according to ASME section 8, so they won’t fail upon production!
