Apeks Supercritical is seeking an individual to fill the role of an Entry Level Sales Coordinator. Responsibilities include assisting and driving sales opportunities of our full range of Supercritical CO2 extraction equipment. This position is intended to develop into a Sales Representative position in 6-12 months. This position will be based out of our Johnstown, Ohio manufacturing headquarters.

The desired candidate should be a self-starter capable of implementing a prescribed Business Plan, working closely with the other members of the sales team as well as marketing colleagues to deliver aggressive call cycle and business development results. This will include contacting and following up on leads, prospecting new markets. An understanding of the customers’ needs and challenges will be developed followed by the design and communication of our solutions such that they convey meaningful business impact to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in meeting or exceed sales targets on an annual basis.
  • Follow up with leads that come in through our marketing program and qualify potential customers.
  • Aggressively develop prospects and penetrate competitive accounts.
  • Keep current on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and competitive information through communications with marketing and our strategic customers.
  • Provide information to marketing team that creates a business development program.
  • Fully utilize of our Customer Relationship Management software, and enter activities and opportunities on a daily basis.
  • Qualifications:
  • Technical or Business administration Degree.
  • At least 3 years with inside sales or call center experience. Sales training is a plus.
  • Action orientation and self-driven for results; should be a fast learner of new technologies.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Good organization / planning / time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener, ability to work in a sales matrix environment.

  • Primary Duties:
  • Responsible for receiving all inventory systematically and physically (unpacking, identifying, examining, and sorting incoming parts, components, and miscellaneous items).
  • Responsible for inventory control (match packing lists, PO’s, and invoices).
  • Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, conducting inventory audits, and review reports.
  • Setup and label inventory bins, stations, and areas on the production floor.
  • Schedule and coordinate the daily flow of activity for receiving.
  • Participates in the planning and implementation of new procedures, policies and systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Skill and abilities required:
  • 2-3 years of inventory control experience.
  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
  • Proficiency with power tools.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Qualifications:

  • Pay range depends on level of experience as an Inventory/Receiving Control Coordinator
  • We are looking for a personable and trustworthy person with mechanical and electrical knowledge to support our service department by carrying out tasks independently and as part of a team.

    An Apeks service technician will use technical knowledge, troubleshooting ability and communication skills to assist customers via phone, email and in person with installation, testing, diagnosing and maintenance of their Apeks extraction systems as well as training new and existing customers on using their Apeks equipment. Up to 50% of working days may be spent traveling and visiting customers all over the country. Tasks will be varied and include a lot of hands-on as well as computer usage and interaction with many people inside and outside of Apeks.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer locations to do service work, maintenance and training.
  • Handle incoming service request calls and emails in a friendly manner when not traveling.
  • Troubleshoot with customers over the phone using manual, diagrams and other technical resources.
  • Be ready to act as an Apeks representative and point of contact for customers and non-customers.
  • Take care of parts and consumables related needs and shipping.
  • Build small assemblies and test components.
  • Assumes any other job responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the department or company.
  • Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Substantial professional or extensive personal experience with mechanics and electronics.
  • Average or better computer skills including MS office.
  • Self-motivated with a strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically able to lift and move heavy objects if needed along with reasonable mobility and flexibility.
  • Technical Qualifications:
  • Ability to troubleshoot AC and DC electrical circuits using DMM and Ammeter.
  • Identify components in electrical schematics, to include DC power supplies, pressure transducers, fuses, circuit breakers, motor starters, relays, and thermocouples.
  • Experience with pneumatic components and circuits.
  • High proficiency with mechanics tools as well as familiarity with machine fasteners and generalized hardware and shop equipment.
  • Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of power transmission systems, belt, pulleys, gears, driveshafts.
  • Experience with industrial plumbing components and assembly practices; pipe, compression, flare fittings; tubing, hoses and pipes.
  • Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning principals of operation.
  • Salary Range: $60,000+
  • We are looking for an experienced engineer to design mechanical systems for our manufacturing operation.

    Primary duties will include:
  • Design of complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks software to appropriate specifications (ASME, CRN, Etc…).
  • Create process and instrumentation diagrams for machine systems.
  • Research and Development of new and existing systems, components, and processes used in botanical oil extractions (Hands-ON).
  • Work with other engineering personnel and vendors to specify and source components used in equipment manufacturing.
  • Work with regulatory agencies to ensure our products comply with codes and ordinances related to our industry.
  • Secondary duties will include:
  • Assist customers via telephone and in person.
  • Development of production methods and processes.
  • Develop testing methods to determine optimal parameters for equipment operation with varied botanical material.
  • Any other duties that become necessary.
  • Skills and abilities required:
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Advanced level of proficiency with SolidWorks software.
  • Ability to perform “skid machine design” from the ground up.
  • Ability to create process and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read and interpret calipers and other measurement tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 5 years working as an engineer or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Apeks Supercritical is seeking a Marketing Director to join our growing team. The position will be located in-house at our offices in Johnstown, Ohio.

    Our candidate will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company brand. You will also be working closely with our sales department to develop a pricing strategy that will help us maximize profits and market share. Finally, you will be in charge of company conferences, trade shows, and major events.

    To be considered for this position, you will need a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications. You will also need to have proven experience in running a marketing team and marketing campaigns. High competency in project and stakeholder management is a huge advantage.
