Perfect for both high & low-pressure extraction systems.
The Apeks Diaphragm Compressor Technology allows our 2000psi CO2 extraction systems to utilize cold separation with an energy-efficient gas pump (20 to 50% faster extractions while consuming half the energy). The separator vessels can maintain lower temperatures necessary for preserving the terpenes in plant oils, resulting in higher-quality and higher-quantity extractions.
Avoid thermal degradation
Ideal for lower pressure 2000psi systems & cold separation.
Without costly, energy-intensive refrigeration, systems with liquid pumping keep hot temperatures (over 100 degrees F) in the separation vessels. Higher temperatures, not only cause light terpene oils to evaporate, but also cause discoloration of the extracted oils (thermal degradation).
High Pressure Systems
Our diaphragm compressor technology partners with liquid pump in dual-phase pumping system.
Our 5000psi Production Series systems incorporate the Diaphragm Compressor Technology as part a Dual-Phase Pumping System, a combined gas and liquid platform. This allows for faster extractions with high CO2 flows at higher pressures/temperatures, as well as energy-efficiency and cold separation.
Extract Faster with our Technology
Advantages of the Diaphragm Compressor Technology
Extract faster, save money and time, with out patented technology. The diaphragm compressor technology is just one of many innovations our team have developed.
Faster
Extractions up to 50% faster.
Energy-Efficient
Reduces overall power required as much half. Regenerative heat exchangers manage thermal byproducts and eliminate the need for multiple heaters and chillers.
Higher-Quality
Higher quantity extractions with cold separation.
Less Maintenance
Stainless steel disc (diaphragm) replaces previously used seals which, when slide, cause friction wearing down pistons.
Quiet
No costly commercial compressed air system so ambient noise levels reduced as much as 75%.
No Waste Heat
Unlike air-compressed drive systems, there is no waste heat with the motor-driven system. This significantly lowers air conditioning loads and removes the need for ductwork to manage the waste heat.
90% CO2 Recovery
Minimizes operational costs.
Multiple Power Options
Operators can chose from single-phase 230V or three-phase 280V, 230V or 460V.
