Veteran Owned, Veteran Operated
The President of Apeks Supercritical, Andy Joseph, is a 2 time Navy Achievement Medal recipient and served aboard the USS San Francisco (SSN-711) home ported out of Pearl Harbor Hawaii as an enlisted nuclear propulsion mechanic. While on board, he learned principles of mechanical operation for all of the nuclear and support plant systems, machining, welding, and of course, discipline. No one makes it through the Nuclear Navy without understanding two words – integrity and discipline. Those words demonstrate how the US Navy has never had a reactor accident in the 60 years that nuclear reactors have been on ships and submarines.
This experience continues to be the foundation for all of the systems we build.
