Today we had the opportunity to extract some Frangipani, which is also commonly known as Plumeria, using subcritical CO2. Our customer has unique access to a large amount of flowers that are discarded from weddings and other formal events at an exotic location. The extracted oil reminded me of Florida in the springtime! Very potent and fresh despite the fact that the raw material had been completely dried out! CO2 is so cool!
